Instamojo is the live payment gateway in Vin-G. Your customer pays on Instamojo’s page, including by UPI where Instamojo offers it.

What moves

  • Invoice balance → an Instamojo payment request with the amount locked
  • Store order → the Instamojo payment page at checkout
  • Successful payment → recorded on the invoice or order after Vin-G re-checks it with Instamojo

How it works

  1. Open an invoice and choose to collect online, or turn on online payment in your store.
  2. Your customer pays on Instamojo’s page.
  3. Vin-G verifies the payment with Instamojo (and its signed webhook) before marking it paid.

Limits

  • Payments are in INR.
  • Not available: Razorpay payments, a UPI QR printed on the invoice, or UPI AutoPay.

Where the data goes

  • Vin-G Invoices: GST invoices with CGST/SGST/IGST, PDF, reminders and online payment.
  • Vin-G Store: An online storefront with cart, checkout and stock tracking.

Questions

Can a customer pay part of an invoice?

The payment request is created for the outstanding balance, so a second request after a part payment covers what is left.

Does Vin-G hold my money?

No. Payments go through Instamojo to your Instamojo account.
